Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Quarterly.

These terms govern your use of Quarterly, a Making Tax Digital (MTD) service provided by Taxpert Solutions Ltd (company number 11728213, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX), trading as "Quarterly". By signing up you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

Quarterly prepares and files your quarterly MTD for Income Tax submissions and your year-end final declaration with HMRC, using HMRC-recognised software. The exact scope depends on the plan you choose and is confirmed during onboarding. We act as your authorised tax agent for the work you engage us to do.

2. Fees and payment

  • Our standard fee is £100 + VAT per quarter (£120 inc VAT), billed every three months, unless a different tier or price is agreed with you in writing.
  • Additional income sources or more complex records may carry an agreed extra fee, always confirmed before any work begins.
  • Payment is taken by the method agreed at sign-up. Fees are payable in advance of each quarter unless stated otherwise.
  • Any launch offer or discount applies as described at the time and to new clients only, unless we state otherwise.

3. Your responsibilities

To file accurately and on time, we rely on you to:

  • Provide complete, accurate and timely information — including income, expenses, bank data and receipts.
  • Connect your bank feed and upload records promptly when asked.
  • Complete identity verification so we can act for you and meet our anti-money-laundering obligations.
  • Review and approve figures where we ask you to before filing.

We are not responsible for penalties, interest or errors that result from information you provide late, incompletely or inaccurately, or from a failure to approve filings when requested.

4. Cancellation

There is no minimum contract. You may cancel at any time before your next quarter begins, and no further payment will be taken. Fees already paid for the current quarter are non-refundable once work for that quarter has begun. On cancellation we will provide an export of your data.

5. Software

Our service includes access to ClearBooks accounting software for the duration of your subscription. Access ends when your subscription ends. Use of that software is also subject to the software provider's own terms.

6. Our liability

We provide our service with reasonable care and skill and in line with relevant professional standards. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

7. Professional regulation

Quarterly is operated by Taxpert Solutions Ltd, members of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and registered tax agents with HMRC. We act to applicable professional standards.

8. Complaints

If something isn't right, please tell us — email info@quarterlybytaxpert.uk and we will look into it promptly and fairly.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated to you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
